How it works

Step 1

Put it in

Type, talk, snap a photo, paste a link or share a file. No folders to choose and no form to fill in.

Step 2

It gets sorted

Claude reads each capture, files it into topics, tells plans apart from things you actually did, and fetches a summary for links.

Step 3

Ask or act

“What did I save about the kitchen?” “Remind me Friday.” “Add this link to the trip note.” The same box captures, searches and edits.

In the beta today

One inbox for everything

Text, voice, photos, video, files and links, captured from the app, the share sheet on Android, or the Chrome extension.

Memory that builds up

Topics, open threads and a running summary of what you’re working on. You can review and correct what it believes.

Reminders and nudges

Set reminders in plain language and get push notifications. Occasional nudges about things you said you’d do.

Your calendar in context

Connect Google Calendar so answers and plans take your schedule into account. Changes need your approval.

Asks before it acts

Anything that changes something outside Personal OS, like a calendar event, waits for you to approve it.

Bring your own key

Use the included daily allowance, or add your own Anthropic API key for heavier use.

Works in any modern browser and installs to your home screen as an app. Native iOS and Android apps are planned, not available yet.

Your data, plainly

Who can see my data?	You. It’s processed by Anthropic (Claude) to understand and answer you, and stored in Google Cloud (Firebase). If you connect Google Calendar or other services, those services exchange data with Personal OS on your behalf.
Is it sold or used for ads?	No.No advertising, no data sales, no ad trackers.
Is it used to train AI?	No.Personal OS uses Anthropic’s commercial API, which by default doesn’t train models on your content.
Can I export it?	Yes.Settings → Export my data downloads everything as JSON.
Can I delete it?	Yes.Settings → Delete account removes your data, files and connections immediately. Other ways to request deletion.
Is it encrypted?	In transit and at rest.Your API key and connected-account tokens get an extra layer of encryption. It is not end-to-end encrypted: the server and the AI need to read your content to work.

Pricing

Free during the beta. Every account gets a daily AI allowance paid for by the developer; add your own Anthropic API key to go beyond it. A paid plan may come later. If it does, you’ll be told before anything is charged, and the free option with your own key stays.
